Ikarus C42

Our Ikarus C42 fleet are 80hp fully enclosed 2-seaters with cabin heating, 70kt (80 mph) cruise. Ideal trainers, very easy to fly and capable tourers. Our C42's have taken many students to first solo and their licence plus numerous tours to France. If you want an idea of potential range, we frequently collect our new aircraft from the facory just outside Munich (yes - Germany).
  1. Controls
    A single centre stick controls the ailerons and elevators. Foot pedals control rudders and ground. movements.
  2. Performance
    The C42 can cruise between 70 Kts and 80 Kts making it an ideal aircraft for trainning and long distance adventure
  3. Runway Requirments
    With only 100 meters required for take off and 150 meters for landing this aircraft is ideal for farm strips making it a go anywhere plane.
  4. Range
    With a 65 litre tank and 10 litre per hour burn rate the C42 can stay aloft for over 5 hours.​
  5. Climb Rate
    The C42 has the ability to climb at a rate of 850-1000 ft per min to a service ceiling in the region of 10,000 feet.
  6. Flaps
    The flaps are controlled by a centrally-mounted lever on the roof of the cabin.

This is available in one twentieth shares for £3115. Shares can be paid by credit card for the initial sum and then by a monthly standing order for insurance, parking etc.

EuroFox

This is the 'hot' ship of the fleet. 80 hp Rotax 912 engine, 80-90 kts cruise, dual stick, single throttle. Wonderful flying characteristics but requires more pilot input than the C42. This is the aircraft we suggest people look towards once they have 50-100 hours post licence on the C42. 
  1. Controls
    Twin sticks, between the legs, control the ailerons and elevators. Foot pedals control rudders and ground. movements.
  2. Performance
    The EuroFox can cruise between 50 kts and 90 kts making it an ideal aircraft for long distance adventure
  3. Runway Requirments
    With only 250 meters required for take off and 150 meters for landing this aircraft is ideal for farm strips making it a go anywhere plane.
  4. Range
    With a 2 x 40 litre wing tanks and 10 lt per hour burn rate the EuroFox can stay aloft for over 6 hours.​
  5. Climb Rate
    A climb rate of 800-1100ft/min up to a service ceiling of 10,000 feet plus makes this a high performing aircraft.
  6. Flaps
    The flaperons are controlled by a centrally-mounted lever between the two cabin seats. They have full range (ie no 'stages') so they can be set to whatever is required for the runway you are approaching.

Share EuroFox

This is available in one tenth shares for £3115. Shares can be paid by credit card for the initial sum and then by a monthly standing order for insurance, parking etc. Qualifying criteria are a minimum of 50 hours post licence on C42 or similar and differences training to an instructor's discretion.

Gyrocopter 

​If you have ever fancied flying a rotary wing aircraft then consider the gyrocopter rather than a helicopter. They are great fun and will put a big smile on your face whilst using considerably less fuel, flying more quietly and being much much cheaper to fly.

  1. Controls
    A single centre stick controls the cyclic (which controls pitch and roll). Foot pedals control the rudder (yaw) and ground. movements.
  2. Performance
    Cruising speed: 160 km/h (86 kts, 100 mph)
  3. Runway Requirments
    With only 250 meters required for take off and 150 meters for landing this aircraft is ideal for farm strips making it a go anywhere plane.
  4. Range
    With a 70 litre tank and 14 litre per hour burn rate the MTO Sport can stay aloft for over 4 hours.​
  5. Climb Rate
    The MTO Sport has the ability to climb at a rate of 4 m/s (780 fpm) While at the same time being able to climb to a maximum of 10,000 ft.​.
  6. Airframe
    The MTO Sport airframe is manufactured from high grade TIG welded stainless steel which is electro-polished to give it amazing durability.
